28th September

Monday, September 28th, 2009

On Sunday I returned from a trip later in the evening and despite the unfulfilled predictions tropo conditions, so I went up the hill. On Monday morning I was listening to beacons in increased strength, and also between Jimmy LX1DB, then I tried is, if it fails to F6DKW. Unfortunately not, so I explored the internet weather situation and went home. In addition to the twelve beacons were heard consistently supporting 10368.100 exactly from the direction of 121 degrees. Again I will QRV next weekend before the race and as OL4A in the race.

23rd September

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Yesterday afternoon I went out again on the hill, tropo Weather conditions were promising, although from the north come cold front. I made several connections to the 3 cm band OK7RA Jirka from Klínovec DL7QY Claus, Chris and Marc OZ2LD F6DWG / p, although this time with leaks but at peak times 559 very nicely. I have tried other stations as F5PEJ / p, although we had sigály on both sides, but very weakly, so the connection failed, sri. In the test with F2CT / p of the square JN16hh no more signal does not pass through. Now the band will not be until Sunday, but the conditions should be repeated in an even better version (I hope) about from Saturday to the west and then north, so we'll see. As soon as I return from travels and I'll have a chance to go to the hill and perhaps discover on Sunday evening. If forecasts hold all filled so fingers crossed all will be a nice connection.

21st - 22nd September

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2009

These days I can be QRV. On Monday I listened beacons stronger than usual, but there was no connection. On Tuesday, the beacons were heard very well and some you do not hear at all. Before NAC contest I did together with Chris OZ2LD in the NAC, we repeated the connection. I made a weir connection with Kjeld OZ1FF, but the distance was greater, and a signal through only occasionally. Finally managed to link with Marc F6DWG / p as well as in the previous QSO strong leakage (I still could not pobre RST) but eventually succeeded. 826 km is already nice. Thanks to all for the connection and all who were willing to test. To the west of us, after all tropo conditions already in place, are only beginning to accrue. The DXClusteru can see that the connections made between JN18-JN59, so I hope now it will be better weir. The weekend can expect very good but unfortunately I will out.

VHF Contest 2009

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

The first weekend in September, I participated along with other VHF contest. Before the contest on Thursday, I was QRV on the 3 cm band. I made two RS connection to Denmark (OZ2LD, OZ3ZW) and two connections to Croatia (9A2SB, 9A1CAL) via tropo. On Friday, began arriving club members and so began dodělávat antenna and so on. The race took place on the whole calm, except for problems with interference from a few stations that produced strong noise and splatery around the band. Made with less than 900 QSOs, preliminary results will be as usual on a server VKVZávody .
